"Child Abuse" is one of the significant problems in society that occurs for various reasons. This issue is associated with irreversible effects on the mental and physical well-being of children, and can have lasting consequences for them. Many communities strive to prevent and mitigate this phenomenon. By examining the place of child abuse in the jurisprudence and criminal law documents of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as its importance, and studying the legal aspects of this issue, more effective laws and regulations can be formulated and legal measures can be taken to prevent such incidents and achieve justice. In jurisprudence, child abuse is condemned and any violation of children's rights has been denounced by jurists. In the criminal law of the Islamic Republic of Iran, child abuse is addressed by laws and regulations that punish any infringement of children's rights. In this research, the sanctity of child abuse in Islam is explained through references to the verses and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a scholarly manner. Subsequently, this crime is examined within the Islamic Penal Code of Iran. The findings reveal that in Islamic jurisprudence, child abuse is deemed a cruel and abhorrent act. Islam has granted numerous rights to children, and child abuse is censured with fines and punishments in accordance with these rights. Similarly, in the criminal law of the Islamic Republic of Iran, child abuse is recognized as a crime and corresponding punishments are stipulated. Various measures, including investigation, trial, and appropriate punishment for those infringing upon children's rights, are contemplated within Iran's judicial system.
